On a Sunday night, right before I hit the bed, I get a notification on the Facebook app that Asha was looking for an engagement ceremony photographer in Livermore area. A good friend tagged my business name and I pounced on that opportunity. After all, - I'm a local Livermore photographer - I've covered Wedding ceremonies and related events in the past.
I used the same points as my pitch to her in addition to the links to my website. We finalized the deal that same night and I went to bed all excited. She stayed in touch throughout (which is what I'd recommend to all my clients), I shared my Pinterest board with her and on a Friday morning, we were all set to get their pre-wedding shoot done right after their engagement ceremony. After the initial Hindu engagement ceremony photography in the Shiva-Vishnu Hindu temple in Livermore, we wandered off to the beautiful Livermore downtown for a pre-wedding shoot. It was convenient as it was a weekday morning and it's at a 7 minute drive from the temple.
